Kyocera Mita colour MFPs scoop multiple awards

30 January 2008 - Kyocera Mita’s colour multifunctional products (MFPs) KM-C2525E, KM-C3232E and KM-C4035E have been recognised with awards from leading US product testers. Especially the colour capabilities and the cost per page of these devices are regarded as buying criteria.

Better Buys for Business, an US analyst for document imaging equipment, has selected the KM-C2525E and the KM-C3232E for an Editor’s Choice award in its 2008 colour copier guide. Stephen Hannaford, Editor-in-Chief of Better Buys for Business comments: “These are well rounded machines with a solid range of capabilities and paper-handling options. Kyocera’s typically lower cost per page may make these good buys. The bottom line on cost of ownership is often won by Kyocera’s machines, and especially for this reason, we feel these models deserve of our Editor’s Choice Award”.

The KM-C4035E has achieved a four-star recommended rating from BERTL, a provider of evaluation reports and comparative analyses of digital imaging devices. BERTL found the advantages of the KM-4035E to include: its full colour capability for network printing, copying and network scanning; its range of document-finishing options; its useful, optional document-managing systems; and its ease of use on a daily basis.

These awards add to the four out of five ranking given to the Kyocera KM-C4035E by Buyer’s Laboratory Inc., which was rewarded for its “outstanding overall image quality,” ease of use and productivity in October 2007.
