European survey: Eco friendliness is major influencer in technology purchases

76% of employees throughout Europe see the environmental friendliness of a product as an important factor when buying technical equipment. However, around 88% feel only partly or not at all informed as to the environ¬mental impact of the products they buy whether for business or private use. Two out of three employees also see environmentally-certificated equipment like printers, copiers and PCs as a sensible purchase when companies want to be more environment-conscious.

7th Stage – Two 4000 metre beasts!
A demanding double-header

The peaks of Dufour and Mont Blanc are not only the highest, but the most demanding summits so far. Therefore, our ascents begin simultaneously.

5th Stage - Great success on Grossglockner
Our fifth day target lay 3798 metres up!

Today’s goal is 3798 metres above our heads, and, up to now, the highest point of our expedition. Despite this, we are confident that we can take on Grossglockner. Even the KYOCERA FS-C5105N colour printer, that accompanies us, has mastered all of the exertions of our rigorous test so far.

4th Stage - All sound in Denmark

The highest peaks of Denmark have an average height of 170 metres. In comparison the peaks that lay behind us, this was rather a small challenge.

3rd Stage - At the peak

Today was – well – a great day. Everything went to plan. First and foremost: at 1.30pm sharp, our flag was waving on the summit of Galdhöpiggen, 2469 metres above sea level.

2nd Stage - The only way is up

Day 2 of the “Cape 2 Cape – Aids Awareness Expedition 2008”. After our successful start yesterday, the peak of Kebnekaise was awaiting us.

1st Stage - The mountain calls

Finally, we were off. From now, our success depended on whether our month-long preparations and our intensive planning would pay off and whether we could attribute the “Cape 2 Cape – Aids Awareness Expedition 2008” to the achievements of the previous year. If the atmosphere amongst the team had anything to do with it, we would have nothing to worry about.
